美國(guó)康復(fù)中心協(xié)會(huì)ARC（the Association of Rehabilitation Centers）和NASWHP美國(guó)庇護(hù)工場(chǎng)與家庭代工方案協(xié)會(huì)（the National Association of Sheltered Workshops and Homebound Programs）共同合作，成立了康復(fù)機(jī)構(gòu)質(zhì)量認(rèn)證委員會(huì)（Committee on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities），也就是延續(xù)至今的CARF國(guó)際（CARF international），這是CARF正式誕生的標(biāo)志性一年。至今50年，CARF一直持續(xù)壯大并提升影響力。CARF中國(guó)認(rèn)證進(jìn)展

美國(guó)時(shí)間2021年8月2日8時(shí)許，CARF通過(guò)官網(wǎng)正式任命Terry Carolan 為CARF International 新任醫(yī)療康復(fù)董事總經(jīng)理。
